Welcome to UrbanTails.pet
After training to be a Dietitian Nicole went on to study for a PhD in consumer behaviour, her best made plans went a bit sideways. In 2013 Nicole was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis a neurological condition where the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord. It was obvious at that point that working a full time job in academia.
On a sunny Saturday afternoon after a few false starts Nicole discovered her passion. In September 2018, Nicole attended her first craft market in Fleet as Urbantails Handmade Pet Accessories. Taking a small selection of handmade collars, bandanas and bow ties she had a great day talking to people about their dogs and even making a few sales.
With the success of the first few outings the website followed shortly after. The range offered has expanded greatly with the new addition of an embroidery machine allowing for customised pet items.
Nicole found that she was unable to attend all the events that she wanted to and so Sue (Nicole’s step-mum) was welcomed into the Urbantails team. Sue also makes the same range of accessories and covers Hampshire events.
You can find Nicole and Sue in attendance all over Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex and you can find our event calender here.
